Commercial Bird Control was created to fill a void in the commercial / industrial market.

Beginning in 1995 as a home services business, we have morphed into a pest control business and now a specialised bird control company. CBC and it’s experienced team are experts in bird control, particularly in the commercial and industrial market.

Past Performance

Large Commercial Complex

Successfully installed bird spikes on multi level inner city motel with neighbouring outdoor eating area. In conjunction with a trapping program, we were successful in reducing bird presence by 95% within the first month.

Provided various solutions to bird control issues at a major Melbourne shopping centre. Using netting to protect plant equipment, spikes to prevent perching in maintenance rooms, trapping to remove pigeons from workshop areas and Flock Off to deter birds from loading dock areas, we have been able to significantly reduce the mess created by birds. We have also installed Tree Shock in a number of trees that overhang the outdoor dining areas.

High density living Buildings

Provided bird deterrent and clean-up services for a large bayside apartment complex. This property had sat dormant for a number of years before the developer purchased the property. Once the development was complete, the birds continued to occupy many of the areas including the car park and balconies. The use of Flock Off, Opti Gel, Spikes, and Eagle Eyes has reduced the bird activity and associated mess almost completely.

Provided solar panel bird proofing solutions to large retirement village developments. Although each array was only 8-10 panels, the 80+ units in the Northern part of Melbourne was attracting a large flock of pigeons. We were able to work with the developer and customise our SWMS to suit the construction company’s requirements.

Industrial Sites

Installed bird netting under all roof areas on a large transport depot, preventing costly damage to goods and infrastructure. The complex had been vacant for a number of years and a large flock of pigeons inhabited the walls and ceiling beams.

We installed 19mm HDPE netting over ballast rock that was installed on two balconies on Melbourne high rise buildings. The rocks were at risk of being blown off the balcony in a severe wind event, or by bird activity. The works were conducted on a live edge and were the subject of extensive work place OH&S controls.

Netting works have been performed on small sites at various prisons, railway buildings and defence locations.
